Indoor plumbing was a luxury!. Thomas Jefferson had something like it, when he used slaves to pull away chamber pots via a system of pulleys!. But in general, it remained a luxury for hotels and the largest mansions (not a typical plantation) until the 20th century; even by 1930, half of rural homes in the US didn't have an indoor toilet!. So for Southern plantations, definitely no!.

How did they use the bathroom!.!.!.Outhouses for women were separate from those for men!. If she really had to go, she probably took a female servant with her to the outhouse, temporarily removed removed the hoop skirt, and the servant would probably have 2 jobs: Hold the skirt for her, and be a lookout/ensure her privacy,Www@QuestionHome@Com

What was used was called a chamber pot which was a porcelain bowl with handle that held waste and had to be dumped out by hand and there were outhouses!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
