He was killed by rifle fire, and upon hearing the shots, people began looking and pointing in two directions: backwards from the car towards a book warehouse, or forward from the car to the famous "grassy knoll!." Behind the knoll was a trainyard, and several people described as 'hoboes" were taken in for questioning!. There are many theories as to who really killed him and why!. My own personal belief is that JFK had become a threat to the power of J!.Edgar Hoover and the FBI!. Hoover had been running the FBI for decades before JFK came along and wanted to topple him from his seat of power!. I think Hoover and the FBI knew about Oswald and set him up to be the fall guy for a Hoover power coup!.
