Question: I would like to learn about historical events!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
hey! i am 13 and i am very interested in current events! however, i have little knowledge about past events like the geneva conventions, etc!. is there a website that has all of the historical events documented and summarized!? or at least the more important ones!. thanks "DWww@QuestionHome@Com

You sound very motivated and intelligent so perhaps you will allow me to offer some advice!?
Read a quality paper like The Times (UK) or The New York Times and you will have access to politics and history writing by experts who know how to relate the present to the past!. If you can not access the paper versions there is still much to be learned by going to the online versions which often have interesting links!.
The bbc!.online site is excellent and offers free to view documentaries and news analysis and much back-up material!.
I was like you when young and (due to prolonged illness which kept me out of school) largely taught myself as suggested above!. I succeeded in getting into Oxford to study Politics, Philosophy and Economics by passing the entrance exam and impressing the tutors with my initiative - they could tell I hadn't been coached!.
Our democracies depend on informed and thoughtful voters so even if you don't want to take your interest to degree level your pursuit of knowledge in this area is a noble use of your time!.
