For example the jet engine and the rocket!. The moon landings would not have been possible without NAZI rocket technology!. In fact many NAZI scientists worked directly with America and Russia to built space rockets!. The NAZI propaganda machine became the base of many aspects of the advertising industry, and many of the modern techniques used by film and documentary makers were pioneered by the NAZI during the Munich Olympics!. The NAZI were also responsible for the formation of the first real international war crimes court which has formed the basis for international trials today!.Www@QuestionHome@Com How ever we critisize the Nazi's were incredable, after ww1 they were left with nothing, no millitry etc, the nazi's built up there economy strong, a massive militry and went on to conqour most of europe, to see go things you have to look at it from there point of view, they were left after the war with debt and the french were taking every way they could pay there debt away from them Germany also went into the largest recession ever when they tryed printing more money to pay the allies but the value just went down, you could be in a shop buying something, by the time your finished the price could have trebled, it was that bad, and the Nazi's fixed it (somehow)!. The Crime rates went way down and the Uniployment rates went down considribly as the Nazi's said if you wont work we will make you work, why doent our goverment do that!. the Treat of Versails was to harsh on them , had the UK and the USA made the treaty ww1 may not have happened as the Nazi's wouldnt have got in power as there main reason for power was to get rid of the Treaty of Versails!. Moden goverments could learn from the Nazi's what to do and what not do!. If it had not been for the driving desire to create a aryan nation and to destroy the jews, there might have been something really good that might have come out of it!. Although, that last part involved experimenting on people, so that's actually not so good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I agree somewhat with Alexsau1- I study Nazi Germany and Holocaust history, I am also Jewish so I am not trying to negate all of the horrible atrocities the Nazis committed!. But what I have come to understand about the rise of National Socialism was that its success was based on the accomplishments and strides the party was able to make in the late 1920s and early 1930s!. Germany was extremely conducive to the rise of a Totalitarian state, The Great War and Treaty of Versailles left Germany devastated and in economic chaos!. There were so many polital factions in the Reichstag that the Government was paralyzed by extreme partisanship!. Hitler implemented a public works program (somewhat similar to the New Deal) that eased the unemployment rate and sparked the economy!. While his anti-Semetic ideology was always known it was not in the forefront of policy until 1933 when Hitler became Chancellor!. It was a downhill evil spiril from there!. But I think people need to examine the Rise of Nazi power and motivations people had for becoming a part of the Party!. Again, I am NOT justifiying or exonerating anyone, I am just saying that it is difficult to view Nazi Germany through a modern, civilized lens, therefore the underlying motivations for participation cannot be held to the same standard of judgment!. Psychological manipulation by the Regime in power distorted the psyche of an entire country; Germans joined the Hitler to bring Germany back to greatness, and without the sociological circumstances Germany faced after WWI, the Third Reich could not have existed and thrived!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Just look at how cute the cat in my picture is!. The Nazi's brought the Entire world out of the Great Depression!. They created the Autobahn!. The Volkswagen!. They perfected the Tank!. They invented rocket planes!. Oh, and they lost!. For one thing they HELPED, and were NOT the cause behind, the Germans and Jews during Crystal Night!. They protected their German citizens in Poland when the Polish were committing atrocities against the Germans in new Polish territory!. A book was published about their atrocities, yet was banned later on!. They made extra effort and went through a lot to keep their prisoners of war healthy and secure!.
