The Native Americans were doomed no matter whom came into contact with them!. It just happened to be the Europeans but they would have suffered the same fate if it was the Chinese, Japanese, or the Arabs!. The Europeans did not conquer the Native Americans because of superior weapons or technology!. The Europeans defeated the Native Americans because they arrived with the diseases they had as part of their society: Measles, Mumps, Chicken Pox, Small Pox, Whopping Cough, Malaria, Typhoid, Typhus, Cholera, Pneumonia, Influenza, Bubonic Plague etc!. These are the diseases of the Old World that did not exist in North America!. The Native Americans had no natural immunities nor any form of medication to treat these diseases!. The Native Americans were decimated by epidemic after epidemic after epidemic!. It is estimated that over 90% of the Native Americans were killed by epidemics from diseases introduced by Europeans, Africans, and Asians!. What the Europeans came into contact with in the present day United States were remnants of Native American society that barely survived the epidemics!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, the huge variety of Native American cultures had been moving and evolving in North America for thousands of years before the English, French and Spanish arrived!. Some had created large agriculturally-based cities, others kept it smaller and more tribal (as a means of survival)!. It's hard to say who might have "won out," or if it would have ever come under one power at all!. They weren't perfect keepers of the land, but I bet that the resources would not be as depleted as they are today!. also, the culture in North America would probably have remained largely oral and never turned into the written forms of NA languages we can see today!.

I do think that if the Europeans hadn't arrived, then navigators from Asia and possibly from the Middle East or North Africa would have come in and figured out their own way of doing things in North America!.
If you're asking this question in earnest, you have to realize that there's practically no way that North America could or would have existed in a vacuum!. The needs of growing empires would eventually have found the continent and used whatever means to get the resources they wanted!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Assuming no one from outside came to North and South America then it would be like this!. Human sacrifice would still be going on the Mexico and central America!. The Iroquois would still be trying to wipe out neighbouring tribes!. The iron age would not have started yet!. More land would be farmed around the great lakes!.The Indian population would be greater and it was in 1700!.Some Indians would have gold!. Maybe they would have learned to smelt silver or copper!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you will never know what could have been!. same goes for africa or australia or any other continent invaded by the greedy!. you do however know the outcome of the greed that has destroyed so much culture and the environment so why not stop it now before it destroys more!?

added: so you think nothing would have changed here if europeans never showed up, huh!. you obviously know nothing about the culture here!. the cities larger than anything in europe at the time with sanitation systems unlike in europe where people would empty sh** pots out their windows into the streets and on passersby if they were so unlucky!.

this was a culture where we bathed regularly, unlike the disease ridden refuse that washed up on these shores from the other side of the ocean!. with governments sophisticated enough to make people like payne and franklin and jefferson pattern them into what is now the usa!. yes, the very people (MY people) you claim would still be "trying to wipe out other nations" has a constitution that was the model for the us constitution!. contrary to what you think, we were not trying to wipe out other nations!. that's the usa in case you haven't noticed!.

by your logic europeans would still be killing each other and having witch burnings and the inquisition would still be going on!. you would still be living in homes with dirt floors and public hangings with the joyous family affair!.!.!.watching somene getting drawn and quartered!.
