English soldiers were taking whatever they wanted whenever they wanted and treated Americans like conquered dogs!.

Ideas had grown from various sources among the Americans which were in conflict with the Monarchy!. Ideas about a new way of doing things called Democracy and about the rights of human beings!. Both of which were considered treason by the British crown!.

The English government was so out of touch with America that it could no longer even understand Ameircans much less to a fair and just job of dispensing laws and regulations!.
