Germany wanted more land so they added Austria and the Czech Republic to Germany to form Greater Germany!. Hitler was able to take over these countries with out fighting!. France and GB allowed Germany to do this, but then Germany attacked Poland which is when France and GB knew that they had to declare war on Germany to stop them from taking over Europe!. The roots of WW2 can be traced back to the end of WW1!. The Treaty of Versailles was signed by the major European powers after the war in order to prevent Germany from rising as a superpower ever again!. It placed restrictions on the Germans such as a ban on their army, navy and air force and forced them to surrender land to France!.
The German economy took a long time to recover from the war and they spent a long time as a weakened country in Europe!. Adolf Hitler promised Germans that he would make their country great again by ignoring the treaty of Versailles and re-building the economy at the expense of the 'corrupt' ruling classes and Jews who had 'lost them the first world war'!.
As part of his rebuilding strategy he started to construct an army with massive investment in new Tanks and Navy and training of soldiers!. He also planned to expand Germany to give the people 'Liebensraum' or 'living space' to help Germany's economy!. Because of this he captured the Sudetenland south of Germany, he also attacked Czechoslovakia and Poland!.
Up until this point the French and British had been allowing Hitler to go ahead with his plan in the hope that another devestating war could be avoided, but before the Invasion of Poland the British government warned the Germans that an invasion of Poland would force the French and British to declare war!.

Basicly, i think, Hiltler was a poor guy, and he played music on the streets etc!. The jews were rich, he didnt like them!.
He joined a political party, the nazis i think!. Eventually he was the boss of them!.
He then killed off the other parties and became the president ( or whatever) and started attacking jews (cos he didnt like them)!. then he kept spreading out to other countries!. Then the UN told him to stop, he said ok, then he attacked poland, = ww2!Www@QuestionHome@Com

WW2 can be argued to be the same war as WW1, only with a very long truce!.

One factor which directly led to Hitlers rise to power and early political actions was the Treaty of Versais!. Many of the restrictions set out in this treaty were a focus for Hitler to strengthen Germanys position!. Hitler therefore built up the German Army in secret!. However, he also re-claimed land that was taken away from Germany at the end of WW1!.

HItler laid out in Mein Kampf that the German People needed room to live!. He identified Russia as an ideal target!. The main obsticle standing in his way were the small countries which formed a boarder between the two countries!. Hitler used the fact that Czecoslovacia had German speaking citizens as a pretext for invating this country!.

Hitler set his sights on Poland!. Britain and France viewed this as a step too far, deciding that Hitler would not be happy until he had swalloed up all of the little countries!. They therefore delivered an ultimatum to Hitler!. Pull out of Poland, or go to war!. Hitler believed this to be a bluff and decided to call it!. The rest is history!.

So there are several factors!. An overbearing treaty!. Hitlers dreams of empire and the wish from German people to re-establish a sence of national pride!.

Well initially the Germans were investigating Heavy water and Nuclear research!.

There were very many unemployed people in Germany!. Hitler reduced that number by having them all killed in a war after convincing them that they were "The master race" with the German mass-media!. Sound familiar!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

WW1 ending with an armistice, an armistice is not the end of a war but a break!.
WW1 set the stage for WW2!. Same player's some had different roles!. Japan & Italy who was an ally against the Germans in WW1 switched sides to join the Allies!. The USSR which can be augured was a new country fought on both sides!.

WW2 started when the Germans invaded Poland in September 1939!. The UK had a treaty with Poland which said that if anyone attacked Poland, the UK would come to their aid!.
