Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Most probably: World power will shift away from the current system of America as the sole superpower (hyperpower even, as they are unopposed on a grand world scale)!. China and India will become superpowers in their own right, and India will try to stop Chinesse economic expansion and exploittation in Asia!. China will find itself in an increasinly pecarious position in the world, with a massive growing industrial base, but few of its own resources, and so will try to expand its influence further and further outwards!. It is possible China will be pushed into an alliance with Russia to gain resources, or (in my opinon far more likely), threaten to invade its post-Soviet resource rich neighbouts in central Asia; they will be able to do this as America begins to decline on the world stage, and cuts its miliatry expenditure!. In Europe the EU will expand outwards and outwards, there will be moves towards a massive federalist state, but they will be slow ones, as there are such massive differences!. The EU and US will find themselves trying to polive and increasingly dangerous world as nations try to suck as much of the few natural resources left in the world!. Global warming's effect will be slow and steady, there will be large sea defences built in welathy countries to defence cities, and shorelines, while poorer countries will suffer!. Africa will face the threat of further invasions from outsides to plunder the rich interior!. Cancer will probably not be cured, AIDS might just be (not that it would be provided to the poor in Africa, health companies wouldn't allow it)!. Renewable energy will prove to be too late to stop climate change, as all countries begin to suffer from it!. nuclear, wind and solar will probably become the most important!. If we are lucky Fusion power will be perfected, leaving a bold new future for mankind, the "holy grail" of producing electricity from water (deutirium in especially treated water) and tritium (from lithium, one of the most common elements in rocks)!. The poipulation will baloon ever further upwards, and there won't be enough food to feed the increasing population from the ever decreasing amount of fertile land in the world!. People in the world will begin to live longer lives, stretching health care systems to breaking point!. Next century probably won't be the "Asian century", because the Anglo-Sphere will remain dominant in so many areas!. English will become the lingua franka of the world, even though America iself will decline!. Australia has the oppurtunity to grow massively with its resources, and large amounts of people emigrate away from the chocking Eurasian continent!.Www@QuestionHome@Com America will not bully other nations in the world!.
