Here is an example of Hitler's anti-Semitic racism from a speech given in Munich in July 1922: "His is no master people; he is an exploiter: the Jews are a people of robbers!. He has never founded any civilization, though he has destroyed civilizations by the hundred!.!.!.everything he has stolen!. Foreign people, foreign workmen build him his temples, it is foreigners who create and work for him, it is foreigners who shed their blood for him!."

Some say Hitler and the Nazis were simply opportunistic demagogues!. Inciting hatred of the Jews was the means to an end!. The Nazis used hatred of the Jews to unify the German people and create a new German empire!. Nothing unites a people more than when they believe they are constantly under attack and fighting a common enemy!. The Jews were convenient enemies!. After propagating this idea of Jews being the scum of the earth so passionately, Hitler and the Nazis may have deluded themselves into believing it more deeply!.

The Christian religions blamed the death of Christ on the Jews!. One can see in the Bible the statement that the Jews demanded the death of Jesus, and said, "let it be upon our heads and that of our children!." This became an excuse to abuse the Jews for more than a thousand years!. It was not until the 1960s that the Catholic Church stated that the Jews were NOT to blame for the death of Jesus!.

In the 1930s there was a lot of anti-Jewish feeling and resentment in the Western world!. Many Jews who tried to escape the persecution in Germany were refused entry into the US and other European countries and also many countries further afield!.

Antisemitism has been rife throughout European history, largely because they were a distinct, easily identifiable group, who refused to integrate!. (Those who really wanted to integrate converted!.) Of course now we see pluralism as a virtue, and a variety of ethnicities and religions as a positive thing!. However, if you want to set yourself up as the totalitarian dictator of a NATION then you have to establish a clear identity for that nation and stick to it; variety is an anathema!.

Another key element of a dictatorship is fear, and a visible scapegoat experiencing the wrath of the state is a good way to keep people from stepping out of line!.

Hitler stated: "The war is to be a war of annihilation"!. His henchman Heinrich Himmler declared: "All Poles will disappear from the world!. !. !. !. It is essential that the great German people should consider it as a major task to destroy all Poles!."
He didn't just hate the Jews!. He found that to be the best way to take over the world!.

The Jews did absolutely nothing to deserve the treatment they got!. Like the Africans and the Indians the Jews were just picked for hatred and unjust things but again they did absolutely nothing!

Since the 1870s the Jews had been the object of a new wave of demonization and conspiracy theories!. On the whole this wasn't taken too seriously in Germany, but in Austria anti-Jewish conspiracy theories were spread by extreme right-wing politicians and also by the Roman Catholic Church, which knew perfectly well that these theories were rubbish!. Young Adolf was a server (altar-boy) and may have been influenced by this!.

Well, there were more "sub-humans", as Hitler called those poor people, than he could handle!. He had to find ways to kill them without making it too obvious!. That's when the real Holocaust started! He built extermination camps, where he could kill many thousands of people at a time!.

Hitler blamed the German defeat in WWI on the Jews, and he hated them!. When he took power he started rounding them up!. He did the same when he started taking over other countries!. He used the Jews, Poles, gays, gypsies, Russians and mentally challenged people as slave labor and then started to annihilate them in gas chambers!. His reason - hatred!. He classed the above mentioned people as sub human and basically in his Nazi world there was no place for the "sub human", only the Aryan (blonde hair blue eyed Germans)

To understand the Holocaust you have to understand the Darwinian biology of the time!. There was a growing sense, particularly since Ernst Haeckel, that there were those in society who were 'biologically' inferior and that for a 'fit' world to survive and thrive, those who were 'unfit' should be done away with!. Instead of letting nature take its course, there was a unspoken sense that humans could take matters into their own hands!. I am obviously not supporting this twisted logic, but that is a key to understanding how a number of things converged to create the nightmare of the century!. [One should note that 'biological inferiority' is almost entirely subjective!. In Britain, for example, many Social Darwinists (especially those active in education) were most impressed by the achievements of Jews in schools and universities and concluded that they were a 'superior breed' !.!.!.]

Hitler blamed the Jews Www@QuestionHome@Com

He wasn't, Jews are not a race of people, they are people of the Jewish faith!. Hebrews are a race of people, belonging to, along with Arabs, the Semitic Race of people!. European Jews were racially of European stock(Aryans, Slavs, etc) and religiously Jewish!.

Sammy Davis Jr, was an black Ameican Entertainer of the Jewish faith!. If you said something disrespectful of his religion, then you were being anti-Jewish, if you said something disrespectful of his being black, then you were being racist!. There is a big difference!.

Under Title 3 of the Civil Rights act of 1964:

Title III

Prohibited state and municipal governments from denying access to public facilities on grounds of race, religion, gender, or ethnicity!.

Race DOES NOT equate to Relgion or place of birth! They are different categories of protection, if the words were interchangeable then they would have only needed to have one word, but since they have different meanings, they have different categories to protect citizens against bigotry!.

Hitler hated and murdered anyone, not only Jews, but anyone who disagreed with his own views that Germany was the supreme culture on Earth and was destined to control the world!. He believed that German Jews had lost WW1 and he did everything that he could to vilify the Treaty of Versailles!.

Being anti-Jewish is NOT being ANTI-SEMITIC!.

Semitic -
1 : of, relating to, or constituting a subfamily of the Afro-Asiatic language family that includes Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabic, and Amharic 2 : of, relating to, or characteristic of the Semites

BOTH people that speak Hebrew and and people that speak Arabic are SEMITES, using the term anti-semitic to only refer to Jewish people is linguistically incorrect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

because the jewish people were the reason for alot of banks crashing in Germany!. He was also a very sick man and needed someone to blame Germanys difficulties on!. Jews were not the only people he hated, he also was racist against and killed many homo-sexuals, gypsys, and basically anyone who wasnt like him!. He wanted to make the ultimate race and rule the world!. He wanted the perfect German (Blonde hair, Blue eyes) The funny thing about that is that he didnt have either!.

A very brilliant man, but with a sick mind!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There was a lot of anti-Semitism at the time all over the world, including in the U!.S!. A lot of lies were circulating at that time in history about Jewish practices, including the Blood Libel (look it up)!.

In Germany it was particularly strong because they were coming off a WWI loss and subsequent economic depression!.

There was a feeling in post-WWI Germany that German Jews were more successful finanically than they should have been given the national depression, so people were already blaming them tacitly for everything that was going wrong!.

Hitler gave them an excuse to actually do violence!. He was probably no more anti-Semitic than the rest of them (he could have been), but he and his party were able to use the feelings already out among the population to gain and hold power!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

He needed a scapegoat for the problems in Germany!. During WW I, he came across some anti-Semitic papers that had originated in Russia (forged- the real pamphlets were anti-masonic in nature written by the extinct Know-Nothing Party in the US; the Russians changed the subject from Masons to Jews to justify the pogroms)!. That, and the rumor in Germany that Hitler's father was actually an illegitimate son of a Jewish man and an Austrian housemaid had reached him!. Because of this last item, he did all that he could to distance himself from them!. Killing them off was the only way that could do this!. The fact that the Jews are still called 'Christ Killers' in quite a large segment of that area of Europe (a hold-over from the Dark Ages) helped to justify the Holocaust in the eyes of German (and Russian) people!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

He considered Germans (or Aryans) to be a white, pure race and thought Jews were a dark, therefore, muddied, dirty race!. Too, since the Middle Ages, Jews were often prevented from functioning in certain types of jobs and professions due to guilds and labor laws!. Therefore they tended to be merchants and bankers or money handlers!. (Not a universal situation, but a general one, there were plenty of doctors, scholars, writers, and musicians among the Jews, along with other occupations!.)
Hitler thought Jews were manipulating the economy behind the scenes!. Too, to gain power he needed a common enemy!. It was relatively easy to blame the Jews because there was a long standing antagonism against them in Germany because their religion seemed odd, and they tended to keep to themselves as any cultural/religious group tends to do!.
When Germany started to suffer from the same economic problems that caused the Great Depression, people wanted someone to blame and Hitler was there to point a finger at the Jews!.
Remember too, Hitler was not German himself, but was born in Austria!. He emigrated to Germany as a young man, in time to fight in World War I!. He though Germany was more pure and therefore better!. The Austria of his youth was a racially diverse population!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Judaism is a religion and not a race!.

And it wasn't just Jews which were persecuted under Hitler: Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, Communists, gypsies, slavs, and several others were also sent to the concentration camps along with the Jews!. But Jews were selected for genocide all across Europe by the Nazi regime!. Exactly how much Hitler was responsible is now under intense historical debate!. Yet the holocaust did happen!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

He used Jewish people as a SCAPEGOAT for Germanys misery!.!. and the worlds Misery!.!. It was just easy to choose a group of people that could be easily be profiled and blame everything on them !.!. and have the masses believe it!.!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
