Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
After being barred from military service and having their property confiscated, males of Japanee descent were compelled to work on road crews or beet farms!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They were uprooted from their homes if they lived anywhere within a 100mi!. radius of the coastline, and sent to camps in the Interior of BC!. They stayed there until the war ended!. They didn't do forced labor or anything of that sort, but they didn't have their freedom, not were they adequately recompensed for the land, homes and goods that they were forced to leave behind!.
