The English established the Colonies because they were being persecuted because of their religion!. Eventually they became the United States of America and were independent from Great Britain!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

1!. Columbus grows up in shipping - all the welathy shippers deal with India !.!.!. the Suez canal was not built yet, !.!.!. There must be some other short cut to India !.!.!.!.!. He wins a research grant from the Spanish govt (although he was Venician himself and had tried to get the Portuguese to fund him at 1st) - and with the help of a bit of tail wind, he makes it there (He reaches America, or rather DomRep & Bahamas) and makes it back in one piece to tell the world about this magical new part of India he has just discovered where the people wear !.!.!. , eat !.!.!., drink !.!.!.!., and smoke !.!.!.
