We did have a laugh at our supermarket when Sir Phillip Rose of M&S said his customers expected M&S to respond to their current financial worries and announced a 'One Day Only Spectacular' (Not food) sale to help!. Best bargain of the day!? 20% off pack of 4 Champagne Flutes!.

There was a story in the Guardian Weekend recently, as recession busters they were testing the cheapest wines from Lidl's and Aldi's, they came up with some OK ones from the best of a bad bunch, and for their favourite they recommended 'would be ideal with wild boar sausages'!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
