Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I love the Anglo-Saxon and conversion period after the Norman Conquest!. More specifically I love the early Anglo Saxon period (fifth to seventh century AD) because of the wealth of artifacts which are preserved and it was during this period that England (Angleland) came into being!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm much more interested in the way people thought - and think - than the details of the wars they fought, although I'm interested in that too!. I like learning about the Ancient Greek philosophers of the 5th-4th centuries BCE!. I think I'd like learning about the Italian Renaissance!. And if you can count art history, my favourite period would have the French Impressionists and Post-Impressionists (Vincent van Gogh and friends) between 1880-1910 roughly!. Because the philosophers, artists, musicians etc!., of these times did things that nobody had done before and thought of things that nobody had thought of before!. They were different!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
