Yes, the largest centre would have been Galatia, to whom the book of the Galatians was addressed to in the bible!.!.!.

Settled By Brennus a Celtic General who raided Delphi but was unable to return home, due to constant attacks so he dug in and fortified an area, and his descendants are still there in modern day Greece, the Greeks say the raid failed but Brennus says he succeeded, well he was wealthy on the way back and poor on the way down!.!.!. maybe he won the lotto !.!.!. LOL

The wikipedia version only records the Greek version of the events as Celts were never big on authors names on written histories but their version dose not contradict its self as the Greek version does!. now just how did Brennus die, there actually is five different Greek versions all different also different time scales = me thinks their version is suspect - LOL but I am Bias LOL

Archaeology and the genome project very strongly points to the Celts actually originated in this area back before recorded history!.

I am a Celt, myself and proud of my heritage!.
we spoke Gaelic at home till I was about eight
my schooling was a bit behind, so home switched to English, thinking it might help me learn the language better!. I am 53 now and can still sing the songs and recite the poetry!.

The Celts are still there and also right throughput the mountainous areas of Europe!.
