Question: How would a religious person in 1915!.!.!.!?
How would someone (Christian) in 1915 celebrate the Sabbath (sunday) was church very solemn, and the rest of the day!? was there still the "no work" rule, and how far was that taken!?

Well, I can answer one part of your question!. The no work rule from what I've studied was not taken very seriously in 1915!. It was in the 1700's-1800's from what I've heard!. It never hurts to research online or at the library!.

Reading the Bible or the Newspaper or another religious book, sometimes the main meal (lunch) was cooked the night before and eaten cold the next day!. They could also spend the day visiting friends!. No working, mending, bathing, etc!. Some religions spent the entire day in church, taking breaks for meals!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

thats not easy to answer as it was really a personal choice, within familys!. there were many stores that didnt open!.( some still dont) many families used that day as "family only" (some still do) it really depended on , and still depends on what you choose to do on the sabbath!. family traditions , personal choices, even in many places the local social mores dictate how the sabbath is spent!.
