Question:

in the currencies of their countries, would people such as asquith, lloyd george, churchill, roosevelt, and even more modern figures such as harold wilson and ted heath have been millionaires!? i imagine some would have been from wealthy, aristocratic families with combined wealth and "fortunes," but is this the same as having millions of your own that you can freely use!? i believe most us presidents have necessarily been wealthy to get elected in the first place, but what about the british!?
i'm interested in both those who began as, and became, millionaires!. if you know of particular examples where they have been, please state!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Given that most people in political life were elevated there after have influential careers as lawyers or businessmen, they had to have money to get a higher education, and once they achieved a certain level, were ambitious enough to be successful!. Therefore, they probably got their start thanks to family money, but they earned their own fortunes on their own merit!. They had to be at least somewhat competent to be successful to reach that level of politics!. In the Western world, success=money, like it or not!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
