Hitler had a mental disability and the people of Germany needed a scapegoat to blame the crisis occuring Germany so Hitler announced that it was the Jew's and black's and everyone elses fault!.

The "holocaust" was only a part of WWII!. There were millions who lost their lives, not just Jews, although we focus on them because of the genocide aspect!. I agree with the first answer you got - that's a good answer!.

Additionally, Hitler wanted to have a "master race" of blue-eyed, blond-haired Aryans!. His "final solution" was the complete eradication of all Jews, and that is why the holocaust primarily focuses on the Jews who lost their lives, although many of all religious and political backgrounds lost their lives, too!.
