Mainly through humanist writings and art work!. For example, Castiglione created the idea of the courtier which introduced the use of mannors and how people in a society should act!. People began to live more courtiously and elequently!. People during the renaissance began to value achievement and accomplishment and over all enjoyed life more!. The writers, like Erasmus, wrote them down!. Other writers like Collucio Salutati (who introduced, or reintroduced, old Greek myths into the Western World!. If you look at sculpture and painting of the era when the Christian Humanists were operating and compared it with medieval sculpture and painting, you would see that they have resurrected the classical style of Greek art!.

You have to remember that the printing methods changed in 1451 with the "invention" of moveable type and that made the publications of books a much more rapid process compared with turning something over to a monk and having him transcribe it on another sheet of velum!.
