Harriot Beecher Stowe when she wrote Uncle Tom's Cabin!.

This book inspired many abolitionists to stand up against slavery along with many men to enlist in the Union Army during the Civil War!. It also reminded the British and French populations of the horror of slavery!. This was very significant in history as the British and French governments probably would have came in to help the Confederacy in the Civil War if their populations wouldn't have been totally against it due to the Confederate's slavery!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
