Not really, if you look at other famous figures with regards to medicine through history you will see far more important individuals such as Hippocrates, Robert Koch and so on!.!.!.
However, he is sort of important to a degree as without his medical knowledge and work what we know today would have been seriously compromised!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes he was because at the time of the Renaissance all sorts of discoveries were being made and were opening the eyes of the world to new ideas!. He was very important to the medical in his works on blood circulation and human anatomy!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
