the reformation concerning martin luther is an interesting topic!.

martin luther was a catholic monk, who believed the selling of indulgences was wrong!.

Indulgence= u pay money u get a certain number of years out of purgatory

he didnt believe in this and pounded a list of 95 reasons the catholic church was wrong

later he went on to break away from the church and start his own!.

he belived that a person only needed to believe in god to go to heaven, that the bible was the only true authority, and that the bible should be written in the language of the people, not latin

A good starting point would martin luther translating the bible into german!.!.!.this gave access to the people having personal use of the bible!.!.!.instead of just the roman catholic church!.

The reformation was about breaking away from the church, basically!. Sayingthat the individual had the right to have a close relationship with god, instead of just through the preist!.!.!.IF the person was on 'good' behavior!.

Remember!.!.!.duiring that time, the church was the government, it was a huge deal!.!.!.thus, the term "protestant"!.!.!.protestors!.

And, don't call your professor stupid, it only makes you look stupid!.
