Well, I heard a story about Theodore Roosevelt and his Dakota ranch in the 1880s!. He lived there for a while and worked with the cowboys!.

In one incident, during a roundup, he was shouting to his men "Hasten forward quickly there" and the cowboys just cracked up with laughter!.

It would make an interesting picture, with those thick round glasses, and him sitting on a horse, and these working drovers trying to move the herd along!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Google the opening of the Cherokee Strip!. There should be lots of fodder; Horses, wagons, sod-busters and'Sooners' who sneaked in early to stake out the best land and giving Oklahoma the nickname The Sooner State for all time!.

Or The Alamo!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
