Should I remind you, Britain is THE place where "drawn and quartered" was done, political dissenters and other people were dismembered and disembowelled alive, in public, and what went on in the Tower of London for decades, perhaps centuries was more than attrocious, certainly not civilized ! Went to China and told them on their own turf "No Chinese allowed" and enslaved their workers to carry huge bundles of tea on their backs!.!.!.made treaties with North-American Indians and then broke their promises and stole more and more land from them, tried to illegalize French language in Quebec of all places!? Countries of British heritage didn't even consider women as persons in the eyes of the law until the early 20th century!. Tea and Crumpets is civilized, not all the rest of the British legacy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Until decolonization in the late 50's and early 60's!. She had her hurrah for about 300 years!. Now she is facing poetic justice or perhaps her own karma as she is being heavily colonized by the former colonials!
