Question: What key battles did colonial troops win in the Revolutionary War!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Chronologically!.!.!.
Concord (1775)--the first battle (after skirmish at Lexington)
Trenton and Princeton (1776-77)
Saratoga (1777)--the "turning point" of the war
Monmouth (1778!?)
King's Mountain (1780)
Cowpens (1781)
Yorktown (1781)--final battle

Additionally, some consider Bunker Hill (aka: Breed's Hill) in 1775 a victory, even though it was technically a defeat, since the British took much heavier losses than the colonists!. The same goes for the Battle of Guilford Courthouse in 1781!.

I know I left off some victories but I think this hit the highlights!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
