Hitler did what he thought was right for his own country at that particular circumstance just as Bush adopted a policy of "preemptive" war and jeopardized the role of International Institutions such the UN!. I therefore feel, Hitler was not all that bad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hitler was an evil, genocidal f**khead!
He was responsible for the murder of millions of Jews!. There were many who survived the concentration camps but that wasn't really from lack of effort on the part of Hitler and his cronies!.
He was determined to take over the world and rebuild it to his own warped and twisted ideals and he wasn't overly bothered if you didn't want him to conquer your country and subjugate your people!.
He had those who disagreed with him killed or sent to concentration camps!. It wasn't even that safe being on the same side as he had a large number of his own people murdered if he felt they could threaten his power!.
He also had the SA, SS, the Gestapo!.
At what point does any of that sound like he was just misunderstood!?
He was certainly very smart but also VERY bad!.

I think that "good" and "bad" are relative to a person's morals!.

I also think that the victorious write history!. Any sane person who heard what he "did" in school and believed it would have to think he was bad, obviously!.

Now, to get the full picture, you must read textbooks from other countries, and what they have to say about wars that they won, or even wars that they lost!. In their textbooks, there are a lot of things that they didn't teach us in school, and even contradictions to what they taught us in school!.

So, one must ask oneself, which is lying, our curriculum, or theirs!? It could just as easily be that all textbooks are spun to favor their own country and to demonize the enemy!. also, most countries who have been conquered teach the children to favor the conqueror!.

In conclusion, one who did not actually know the man cannot honestly and accurately make that sort of judgment!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't really believe in much of 'bad' and 'good', without both; there would be nothing!.
Hitler was a very intelligent man, and very influential!. He know what he was doin haha!. His plans were brilliant, but horrible!. I think he used his power in horrible ways!. But in the end, it's changed a lot!. Things will never be the same because of him for many people!.

Hitler was certainly bad!. But not much more (or less) than contemporaries like Lenin, Stalin or Mao!.
All of them ran concentration camps!.
All of them had ways to make you think correct!.
All of them thought the end justified the means!.
