Question: Art history -- I'm looking for a painting!?
I need help remembering the name of an artist and painting!. It is from the mid-late 1800s, and I almost want to say it is a Cezanne, or at least from somebody of that same period and art schools -- something post-impressionist maybe, but an urban milieu!. I'm really bad with names, but the painting is forever sketched on to my retinas!. I had seen it before, but saw the original at London's Royal Museum at Trafalgar Square last summer!.

The painting is of a night-time city scene!. It's not a skyline, though!. It's just a view of a street from a street corner!. It is rainy, cafe and shop lights are glaring off misty streets and air, and many people are walking on the street with umbrellas!. All of the people are painted with broad brush strokes in dark colors!. If I remember correctly, the city might even be Amsterdam or Brussels -- but it is definitely European!.

That sounds like Van Gogh's painting The Café Terrace on the Place du Forum, Arles, at Night!. You can go on art!.com and see if that may be the one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
