The Saudis opted for the Americans!. Bin Laden was furious that the Saudis would allow American troop bases to be established in the Holy Land!. He issued warnings!. The warnings were ignored!. There are also various degrees of religious and idealogical issues at play!. The rest you know!.!.!.
