Mesopotamian civilization :
1- the Sumerian contributions :
a- the invention of the cuneiform writing system 3200 B!.C!. the first writing system !.
b- well developed irrigation system that change the Marshes in the south of Iraq into Paradises ( Paradise of Eden )
c- the first law code of the Sumerian king Ur-Nammu ca!. 2112-2095 BC and the most famous one of the Babylonian king Hammurabi ca!. 1795 – 1750 BC!.
d- The Epic of Gilgamesh is an epic poem from Ancient Mesopotamia and is among the earliest known works of literary fiction over 2000 B!.C!.
e- wheel invention 5000 B!.C!. which is the basis of many machines that contribute in the human civilization progress !.
f- the ancient music instruments all over the world since the Sumerian period !.
2- Babylonian contributions :
a- Pythagorean theorem, a theorem in geometry that states that in a right-angled triangle the square of the hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle), c, is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides, b and a—that is, a2 + b2 = c2!.

3- Assyrian contributions :
a- the most ancient Library in the world of the Assyrian king Ashurnbanipal 685 – ca!. 627 BC, reigned 669 – ca!. 631 BC in Nineveh
