Question: Why did the farmers of the constitution set up a system of federalism!?

I think you want to transpose that "a" and the first "r" of "farmers," and see what you get!. Most if not all of the states were extremely reluctant to give up their states' rights to a central national government!. So, for pragmatic reasons, if nothing else (and there were other factors), those "farmers" embraced federalism!.

All right!. I've done half of your homework!. Now, you go ahead and do the last half, learn what "federalism" is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most of those in the Constitutional Convention weren't farmers, though a lot of the southern delegates were planters, if that counts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
