At a guess I'd say Henry V, but it might have been Henry I or Henry II!. Can you give any more information!? Henry V fought battles in France towards the end of the 100 Years War!. He sacked the town of Harfleur (modern Le Harvre) in 1415!.

Really, any of the Henrys 1 to 5 could have burned a village in France during a military campaign!. The mediaeval English kings were also great landowners in France!. Henry II owned and controlled more territory in France than did the king of France!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
