Question: American History Help!?
Hi everyone, I was reading in my History textbook and on the side of the page they always have those questions to think about!. Well, i got to this topic and couldn't clearly express an answer! Can anyone help!. The topic in the book is about how Elbride Gerry refused to sign the Constitution because it did not address the issue of slavery!. And that he felt the issue would eventually destroy the Union!. And as the events proved, he was nearly right!. There was three questions!. 1) Why do you think the delegates refused to deal with the issue!? 2) Was tgeur coarse if action the right one to take!? Why, or why not!? 3) Include issues in your thoughts!. Help is greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Many Americans felt it was hypocritical of them to sign something declaring everyone free when there were enslaved Africans!. Most ignored the issue because slave owners needed them for labor!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
