Question: Korean women 'sex' victims during japan colonial time!?

I heard that there was a time that Korea was colonized by Japan,
and Japan and China had a war!. Or maybe other nation!.
Then Japanese forced Korean young women, even girls out
and turned them into something like sex slaves
for "tired", -sex needing- Japanese soldiers who were
out in the battle!.

the Korean girls were in brutal condition,
bitten and forced to have sex that they did not want!.

I want more insight and details of the context,
and are those Koreans still alive!?
then How are they living NOW!?

Any Koreans, or Japanese, please answer the question!.
thanks!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am not Asian, but know about the things that the Japanese military did to the women of Korea, China, and the Philippines!. With so many Japanese men away from home, they needed some kind of comfort to ease the stress of a harsh military life!. So why not just rape and kill beautiful women!. Anyway they are not Japanese and who will know!?
That's the mentality of those people back in those days!. Many girls as young as 10 were repeatedly raped over and over until no longer useful, then murdered when finished!. Many girls killed themselves because of the shame put upon them!. This happened from the mid 1930's in Korea and China and later in the 1940's in the Philippines!.

If you want to read an interesting book about the Japanese invasion into China, and if you want a good cry!.!.!. I suggest going to the library and check out the book!.!.!. RAPE OF NANKING by Iris Chang!. It's very good reading and you will read about how not only the city was "raped" by the Japanese, but many stories of the the rape of the girls!. Be warned that there are some photographs that will make you sick and angry!. You will wonder in disbelief that this could happen to innocent people!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, some are still alive!. I'm not sure they are really up on Internet use, so not sure you'll get any direct answers!. I've listed some articles on the topic for you!.

(BTW: I think what you are referring to might be a separate issue from the Rape of Nanking -- although that is an excellent book that should be read!.)
