I would propose that John Calvin of Geneva is the more "conservative" and less revolutionary since he was systematic and thorough as far as his understanding of doctine and church organization (he did espouse a more "spiritual" understanding of sacraments) - - and my answer would be Dr!. Martin Luther who left his monastic order and took a wife and had children, making a stand and committing himself "Hier stehe ich, ich kann nicht anders"!. !. !.He was a lot less revolutionary obviously than Muenzer (another early reformer and the Anabaptists obviously) but more world-shaking than the "Lutheran" denominations that follow his lead/terminology still in the 21st century!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Is this a trick question!? Off the top of my head i can only think of Henry VIII, though I don't think it was his intention!. He just picked a fight with Rome and established his own church, only after that did his daughter Elizabeth come along and tack some principles on the back of it through her own protestantism!. Simplistic I know, but broadly true I think!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well in my opinion after I researched both of their impacts I will go with Martin Luther!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
