Question: What were the purposes of wars in the 18th century!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
they were mostly to take control of new Territory's or protecting a country's territory and back then army's fought in liner formations or Parallel where you would general salute your enemy them fire in strict volleys until one line falters and then the cavalry would pursue the fleeing soldiers

in the 18th century tho there were no big wars after the Napoleonic period besides the Crimea it was mainly sea battles over the slave trade

but there are no purposes to the wars back then besides Territorial wars Www@QuestionHome@Com
