You cannot even compare Katrina to what is happening in Africa!. If 20% cannot afford health care it means 80% can!. Health care in Africa hardly exists and where it does it is supplied by foreigners!.

I believe Afro-Americans are much better off where they are now although they paid the price of slavery for it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A good book on this topic is "Out of America" by Keith Richburg!. From the Amazon review

Amazon!.com Review
From 1991 to 1994, Keith Richburg was based in Nairobi as the Africa bureau chief for the Washington Post!. He traveled throughout Africa, from Rwanda to Zaire, witnessing and reporting on wars, famines, mass murders, and the complexity and corruption of African politics!. Unlike many black Americans who romanticize Africa, Richburg looks back on his time there and concludes that he is simply an American, not an African American!. This is a powerful, hard-hitting book, filled with anguished soul-searching as Richburg makes his way toward that uncomfortable conclusion!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I expect they felt glad as they sat in the Superdome after Katrina, and that almost 20% cannot afford health insurance!. Poverty exists in all corners of the world, it might not be so extreme, it is still there and a stain on any advanced nation's reputation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

from what I've read, most real Africans tend to think that most 'African-Americans' are spoiled brats who don't know how good they have it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
