Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I'd say Rome was just as bad as the Nazis!. In fact, I'd say Rome was worse due to the period of time it existed!. Rome was equivalent to centuries of blood games, slavery, ridiculous taxation, and intolerance!. The Nazis lasted just around 12 years, killed 6 million people they disapproved of, and stole loads of gold!. The Nazis are nothing compared to let's say the USSR under Stalin and the People's Republic of China under Chairman Mao!. Stalin killed around 8 million people and Mao killed around 90 million people respectively!. Mass murder is too common in the 18th to 20th centuries!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The Nazi's!. They were acting from the concept of racial superiority and genetic superiority!. As well as the idea that anyone disabled should be put to death or sterilized because they carried bad "genes"!. They perverted science, and medicine, as well as modern society to follow that idea!. They plunged the world into war that cost more life's than any before or since!. By contrast the Romans were only following the ancient worlds rules of conquest!. They passed along a lot that the civilized world still uses!. By contrast many of the results of Nazi medical experiments were ignored!. The peoples conquered by the Romans became Federated or allies and not as slaves subjugated by the Nazis!. Roma knew to be merciful with the losers!. The Nazis not!. The Romans did not ever camps and Julius Caesar was never a dictator, but the first consul and then triumvirate and when he was killed, people wept and sought his killers to punish them!. No!.
