Currently the Navajo mainly live in Eastern Arizona and Western New Mexico!. Daily life nowadays is that many live on reservation lands around Gallup, NM, while many live off the reservation!. The children attend schools both on the reservation and in regular public schools!. The Gallup-McKinley County School district's student population is about 70% native American in which most of those are Navajo!. They are increasing becomeing more like the rest of American culture!. They like lots of the same things most Americans like, and even have an obesity problem like the rest of America!. Diabetes rates are pretty high!. Unfortunately as a percentage, they are not as well educated as other demographic groups in the area, and unemplyment among them is high!.
