Did slaves ever get vacations?

Question: Did slaves ever get vacations!?

I'm curious!. Did slave masters ever give their underlings the week off, obviously!.!.!.without pay!? Or did they just work them to death!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Slaves didn't get vacations but depending on their duties, they might get days off!. In ancient Rome and Greece there were many holidays, and if work was suspended for a day, they would have a holiday!. But quite often it was only the owners who got the holiday!. Obviously the kitchen slaves wouldn't be given the day off - if anything, they would have even more work preparing special meals for the holiday!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most had Sundays off, but it still wasn't their time!.
