The "Pilgrims" landed at Plymouth Rock, in 1620 (Harbor, Atlantic Ocean)
The Europeans in 1800's later came in thru New York at Ellis Island, via Atlantic Ocean!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Spanish colonized the New World first, but they were in Mexico!. They were followed by the French who settled Canada on the St!. Lawrence River!. And then the English came in the 1580's!. Their first colony disappeared so in 1607 they tried again and settled in Jamestown!. I'm pretty sure Jamestown is on the James River, but that might need to be verified!. (I'm too lazy to look at my notes right now, lol)Www@QuestionHome@Com
