Question: What was Ethiopia like back in lucy's time!?

I'm assuming you're referring to the hominid remains that were discovered in 1974!?

At the time when the individual hominid now named Lucy was alive, the area that's now Ethiopia was mostly grassland Savannah with tropical jungles to the south!. As early hominids evolved in the border areas between jungles and savannahs, this made Ethiopia one of the main areas for early hominid evolution!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ethiopia had quite a bit more Rainfall back THEN, so it probably was alot more "Savannah"-like, with lots of Grasslands & plenty of wild (African type) animals for our Ancestors to hunt & eat!.!.!. Cavemen (& women) probably lived & hunted in small groups, & there just weren't THAT many around back then!.!.!. Thanks to the drying of the Climate & the overpopulation of Humans, Ethiopia is a LOT poorer Country, now!.!.!. :( Www@QuestionHome@Com
