Question: What kind of ideal society / community would you make up!? Plato, the republic!.!?

creativity is okay within reason!. if you had to make up an ideal society, what would you do!. like if you were stuck on a farm or something with classmates!. what jobs would people have and how would you decide a leader (or leaders, don't want a dictatorship) and rooming arrangements and all that!. we studied Plato and my teacher thought it would be fun to create our own ideal society within the class!.
i need ten points, but any amount would help a ton!

i'm looking for things like have a list that tells people what their duties are and when posted in a public area so there is no arguments or confusion!. plato thought everyone should do what they're best at, but i don't think thats fair because some people's talents aren't of use to run a society!. please don't tell me to look into another country's workings, i really don't have time!. i'm only on #3!. It has been more than 20 years since I read Plato’s Republic but I do know it was theoretical!. However, here is what I suggest:

1!. You need a sustainable economy and environment to provide farming, raw materials for industry, transportation and communications, forests, wetlands, access to clean water, recycling of waste, etc!. Every society needs it regardless of what type of government!. Look what happened to ancient societies!.

2!. Primary and secondary education needs to be provided to all the people regardless of class, race, and religion!.

3!. You need a well trained and equipped police force and a military regardless of how peaceful times are!.

4!. A federal republic with strong a democratic process; checks and balances between the executive, legislative, and judicial branches; term limits on all elective officials; separation of religion and state; realistic taxation that is proportional to taxpayers’ incomes!.

5!. Laws that enforce the general security of the individual as well as the masses; laws that realistically regulate the economy; laws that realistically reduce class separation; laws that realistically punish the guilty regardless class, race, and religion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just make something up and be prepared to defend your work (explain why you made up your society that way)!. That is the only thing your teacher wants you to do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
