After religion wars in the old europe, people from England travelled to the new world by the hope to establish certain utopic ideal of peace and liberty, so the settlers of the catholic Maryland colony, the Mayflowerr's puritans who created New England and the William Penn's Quakers settled in Pennsylvania!.

Their ideal was to elevate as an univeral feature the spirit of the humble people by religious sects, a new world conception: peace and liberty, all together with mercantilism!.

That spirit and its later development became the typical pilgrim concious, partly advantages and partly a strange religious unction, somethig like the elected people!.

So, the american society grow democratic since the beginning, based on nature, Bible reading, saving by the work, liberty, mercantilism and the personal advantage, clear things from humble people!.
