In both Old and New Testaments of the Bible we read of people whose dreams foretold the future and would influence the decisions of kings or pharaohs!. Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I do not know where you are getting your info from, but far from everyone believed in Nostradamus and his claims!. In both Old and New Testaments of the Bible, those dreams were supposed to be messages from God!. Nostradamus was not making any such claims, so people dismissed his claims as fantasies or delusions or even from the Devil!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Beginning in my early childhood, I like many others experienced amazing dreams that caused my Grandma to think I was a liar when I told her about my dreams!. Thankfully, my Mother defended me and she explained that her Father experienced the same kinds of dreams!. Later on, after I was in the early twenties, I had a series of dreams that I began to write down!. Many of those dreams were clairvoyant: I learned this many times during the same days following the dreams or after I read my dreams days or months later!. Now, I am personally challenged and tormented because I have written four novels from dreams and they describe now!. Sometimes this experience makes substance abuse attractive, but that will not happen with me!. John wrote Revelations from a dream that he experienced from Jesus!. I do not need to tell you about Joseph interpreting dreams nor Daniel!. And though you cannot expect me to give you winning lottery numbers, Nostradamus, other prophets, Jules Verne, and probably people you and I will never hear of: have been gifted with unique and challenging prophecies through dreams or other ways: possibly directly from God!. Sadly, just like Jesus learned, prophets do not fare well if they try to make delivery of their prophecies near their hometowns: they must be delivered where people will not associate the prophets with their more humble pasts!. However, today, I plan to make asserted effort to begin to deliver my dreams and my books to people like you!. Chinese people and even Middle Eastern people are capable of these amazing dreams!. Noah was from the Middle East and so was Jesus!. Now!.!.!.
