Question: What tactics were used in the wars that were fought between the French and English in America!?
Hello everyone, I was doing my homework, but got really stuck on this one!. Can anyone at least give me a little help on this one!?

PS- I know a lot of people get annoyed when people ask for help on homework and normally I wouldn't do this, but I really can't find the answer in my book and Google isn't very helpful on questions like this!. If you are going to lecture me about asking for homework help, just don't answer!.

~No lecture, just a suggestion!. Have you searched "Tactics of the American Revolution"!? I did!. I found some decent information!.

Tactics in the French and Indian War were somewhat different!. Each side adapted its tactics to the particular objective and to the circumstances extant at the time of battle, just as any army with a modicum of intelligence or intelligent leadership does today - assuming the field commanders are given the latitude to develop strategy and the tactics necessary to implement that strategy (which necessarily excludes the US under the leadership of George Bush in Iraq)!.

Finally, the tactics are reliant on the weapons and manpower available and the exigencies of a particular objective!. If tactics are static, a battle may be won here or there, but the war will surely be lost!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
