Using Fame and Shame does rhyme, but doesn't do your question
due credit!. Persons of great notoriety are said to be 'Famous' if they
are perceived as good!. They are said to be 'Infamous" if they are
perceived as bad!. Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin are Infamous were as
Mother Theraesa or Ghandi are Famous!. The application of these two
terms for many people of notoriety depends on opinion!. Most people,
and most definately the French would say that he is famous!. If you
or I were Brittish we would probably call him Infamous!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
