Question: For those who are well-educated about American History!?
Thomas Jefferson was a Democratic-Republican who didn't believe in federalism!. He had a strict interpretation of the Constitution of the U!.S!. However, there were some events/ decisions that he made that were more of a loose interpretation of the Constitution of the United States (for example, the Louisiana Purchase)!. What are some other decisions/ events that he made that he didn't really pay attention to following the constitution!? Please help! I know it seems like I'm asking the answers to a essay prompt but I just need short answers of you know, events in where Jefferson made a loose interpretation of the constitution!. Replies are greatly appreciated :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I recently heard an historian say that Jefferson was in favor of small government, unless Thomas Jefferson was the government!.

The Embargo on any trade with a warring nation puts more authority over individual commerce than the Constitution explicitly permits, so the Embargo Act would be another example!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
