I would say Juan Seguin!. He played a huge role in Texas independence from Mexico!. He was one of the founding fathers of Texas as we know it, and was a statesman!. If not for the Texas revolution and Juan Seguin's part in that, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California might still be part of Mexico today!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
