It was actually the birthplace opf democracy!.!.!.a guy named Colon dreamed up a new concept that would give the ghreater populace with popwer over the government!.!.!.it worked pretty well!.!.givben that it was a crude version of what we have now!.!.!.however, pure democracy turned out to be a sort of mob rule!.!.!.they , the populace , voted on everything, and didn't allways make good logical decisions!.
