Many countries had colonies!. England, Spain, Portugal, Belgian, France!. Germany, and Italy!.

In the 1500s, Portugal had the largest empire!. In the 1600s, Spain had the largest empire!. In the 1800s, England had the largest empire!.

Australia is a continent!. It is independent now but it was totally owned by England!. Africa was almost completely owned by other countries!. Ethiopia was not a colony but it was invaded by Italy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
