i so badly want to do simething interesting again like the tudors or the egyptians! and i want to take sixth form history, and all you do is the same stuff you did in year 11! point, please!?!Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: American history is a big part of World History, and the US Presidency is a big part of that!. Sorry you're not enjoying it as much as the Tudors (who were, after all, fascinating enough to have a TV series and many MANY movies made about them -- less so for American presidents!), but apparently you don't have much choice!. I did USA 1941-1980 in year 10 which covered American presidents (Kennedy,Johnson & Nixon), as well as other things like civil rights, women's liberation & Youth Rebellion!. I found it really interesting!. I'm hoping to do A-level history!. at the college near me they do 3 different history courses, one has a very similar course to the USA topic which I'm thinking about doing!. American Presidents are actually quite interesting!. Don't write it off yet, once you get further into the course you will hopefully change your mind!. If you're wanting to go further with history then you'll realise the importance of America!.Www@QuestionHome@Com There is always a point to knowing what happened in your country and other countries and What action led to what reaction!.
